About the event
With gentle and mindful repetitive movements, Somatic Yoga Therapy will help you retrain the brain and the nervous system to let go of long held tensions. Â This class will help your body return to its natural state of ease and access a deeper range of motion in your joints. Â We will focus on slow, mindful release practices that increase flexibility in a gentle and restorative way that's accessible to everybody. Â Practice ends with a Yoga Nidra meditation so you can relax and integrate in stillness and bliss. Â
Props: Â yoga mat is nice but this practice can be done on a towel. Â You will need a yoga strap. Â This can even be the tie from a bathrobe. Â Wear socks and have a blanket and pillow nearby for Yoga Nidra. Â
There will be the opportunity for discussion and questions after the session. Â Â A recording will also be available for 3 days for all who register.
